I adopted Maslow after he was rescued by a friend. He has been my soul companion and is completely in tune with my moods. If I am up and about so is he, if I take a big sigh then so does he. We are also very similar in personality. We are not fighters but will stand strong and with grace and dignity in adversity. We will defend when required but it is done with intelligence and strategy.  I watch when he asserts his territory, as though he is in meditation, conveying focus and strength that no predator would dare to challenge.
