This was aimed to be a simple image of the female gorilla I  shared a special moment with that will always stick with me. We were warned to not make eye contact with the gorillas and so we watched her happily munching on bamboo. As it started to rain she huddled in the way we all did and looked me in the eye with a look of agreement that the weather was rubbish. it was then I saw the emotion these creatures could convey and how empathy was not only for humans.
